Kimberley Murray, RN, M.S. Welcome! I'm your MACC Medical Team Lead for the SIXTH year now and honored to head this group of highly trained professionally licensed individuals. I've volunteered on the Medical Team for 5 Regionals, Wodapalooza, the Working Wounded Games as well as many SuperFit comps in the East including the National Championships. I’ve also been on the Games Medical Team for many years in Carson and in Madison. I'm an RN with a Masters in Clinical Leadership and currently teach CPR, Math, and Nursing online. I look forward to serving our MACC FEST athletes this weekend. Please take advantage of all our complimentary Services we provide with Mobility/Recovery/Taping/Ice or even First Aid and let me know if you need anything!
Phillip Munck, Massage Therapist (LMT) is based in Northern VA and delivers next-level integrative bodywork to athletes both around the United States and Internationally. His style is particularly effective in dealing with Crossfit pain and improving range of motion. This will be his second time volunteering for the MACC Medical Team. He was also contracted privately to work with Brent Fikowski as his personal Recovery Specialist during the 2021 CF Games.
Dr. Mike Eckrich PT, DPT, SCS has worked as a Sports Physical Therapist at the University of Delaware for 3 years with a focus on knee/shoulder injuries. He has competed in CrossFit for the last year and has coached at his gym also.
Dr. Cory Hough is a Doctor of Physical Therapy originally from Michigan. He and his wife moved to Maryland in 2019 to work at Recharge in Ellicott City, MD as coaches and physical therapists, and also works with his wife at her business: Restore Pelvic Health and Physical Therapy, also in Ellicott City.
Dr. Meghan Wieser is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, originally from NJ, who moved to MD to work for Recharge in Ellicott City, MD as a coach and physical therapist. She's done CrossFit-like training for the past 3 years and was on the Recovery team for the MACC in 2019 as well.
Scott Nittolo, RN, BSN has worked as a flight medic for 9 years with the Air Force and recently started as a RN in an emergency dept at Sentara. Scott has enjoyed CrossFit for 5 years since he got involved while deployed to Afghanistan. He has volunteered at several MACCs, including the SemiFinal as well as the Working Wounded Games.
Caleb Beaver, EMT, has a B.S. in Athletic Training and is currently in the US Air Force working as an Air Force Aerospace Medical Technician. He has taken the Trauma Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Course and has volunteered previously for the MACC SemiFinal and the World Police/Fire Games. He has trained CrossFit for 9 years.
Steven Argueta, MS,LAT,ATC
Is an athletic trainer from Maryland. Over the past several years, Steven has worked in the collegiate setting at every level of the NCAA. Recently, Steven pivoted into the secondary school setting at Bishop O’Connell HS. Steve is a recreational CrossFit enthusiast.
Dr. Firas El Chaer is a cancer doctor, originally from Lebanon and lived in multiple states in the US, including Maryland where he started CrossFitting at SEYA in 2017. He has been active in the CrossFit community since then and has previously volunteered in many sports events.
Kathy Winter, EMT-P, FP-C is a career fire department firefighter/paramedic as well as a critical care flight Paramedic who was born, raised, and is still living in Annapolis, MD. She now trains with the 12 Labours Lions in Annapolis. She has worked advanced life support medical triage for the Pittsburgh Marathon alongside doctors from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Charlee Smith CCRN, CRNP. Charlee currently works in the ICU and has worked as a nurse at MD Shock Trauma in their Lung Rescue Unit as well as their multi-trauma ICU. Charlee resides in Hagerstown, MD with her husband and 2 huskies. She has been doing CF for the past 8 yrs and has competed in several local competitions.
Sean Brooks is a Firefighter/EMT for Arlington County Fire Department. He has been involved in CrossFit for 8 years, is a CrossFit Coach and started the Barbell Club at his local box.
Shelley Smith, RN, works as a Utilization Management Nurse Consultant at CVS/Aetna. She has done CrossFit for over six years. She has been on the Medical Team for Northeast Regionals 2017 & 2018, and the Signage team at the Crossfit Games 2018.
Kristen Wyskida, RN has worked in many roles from ICU to home care to her current spot in oncology. She has always worked in the Syracuse area and is originally from north of New York City. She has been doing CrossFit for 8 years and has recently incorporated running into the routine. She volunteered on the Medical Team at the CrossFit Regionals in Albany, NY.
