There are two separately scored events. Each event is worth 50 points.
Event 1 is the sum of the heaviest successful lift by each of the Male athletes.
Event 2 is the sum of the heaviest successful lift by each of the Female athletes.
Flow:
At the call of “3, 2, 1 ... Go,” the first male athletes will move onto the platform. The first male athlete will perform one attempt at a snatch in the following windows: 0:00-2:00; 2:00-4:00; 4:00-6:00. At the 6:00minute mark the second male athlete will move to the platform and will perform one attempt at a clean and jerk in the following windows: 6:00-8:00; 8:00-10:00; 10:00-12:00. At the 12 minute mark the men’s bar will be removed and the female bar will be placed on the platform. At the 14:00 minute mark the first female athlete will move to the platform and will perform one attempt at a snatch in the following windows: 14:00-16:00; 16:00-18:00; 18:00-20:00. At the 20:00 minute mark the second female athlete will move to the platform and will perform one attempt at a clean and jerk in the following windows: 20:00-22:00; 22:00-24:00; 24:00-26:00.
The non-working athlete of the same gender pair will be permitted to assist in changing weights.
All 4 members will be permitted to change weights during the 2 minute transition.
Non working members will remain under the pullup bar.
The athlete will be permitted only one attempt per time window.
Athletes may not change the weight on the bar until the next window has opened.
The only athlete allowed on the platform will be the athlete that is lifting. All unloaded plates must be off of the platform and clips must be on the bar prior to beginning the lift. If either instance occurs the lift will be deemed a no rep.
The workout will be two separately scored events. The score for Event 1 is the sum of the heaviest successful lift by each of the Male athletes. The score for Event 2 is the sum of the heaviest successful lift by each of the Female athletes.
Movement Standards:
Snatch - The athlete will move the bar from the ground to overhead in one smooth motion. Stopping at the shoulder is not permitted. Power snatch is allowed. The rep will be completed when the athlete stands up to full extension with the bar overhead with both feet under the hips. The athlete may not touch the platform with any part of the body other than the feet. Hang snatch is not allowed.
Clean and Jerk - The athlete will move the bar from the ground to the shoulder in one smooth motion. The athlete will then take the bar from the shoulder to overhead. Power variations are allowed. The rep will be completed when the athlete stands up to full extension with the bar overhead with both feet under the hips. The athlete may not touch the platform with any part of the body other than the feet. Hang clean is not allowed.
